Lisa Nelson

Patient Care Coordinator

Lisa attended Northwood Technical College — then Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College — in the accounting program and later completed the school’s emergency medical services training. With a robust background in customer service, hospitality, office management, and more, she brings a passion for helping others and once won the Golden Attitude Award at a prior workplace.

Having previously worked as a patient care coordinator at another practice, Lisa is glad to be back in the audiology field. Ask her what she appreciates most about working at Hearing of America, and she’ll share that it’s about “working with like-minded people who find the value in serving others and helping provide a better quality of life to every person they meet.”

Outside the office, Lisa cherishes time with family, including her two daughters; seven grandchildren; goddaughter; and the household boss, her tortoise-shell calico cat, Remi. After moving 49 times over the years, she has happily settled in River Falls for the last decade and can sometimes be found enjoying one or both of her favorite pastimes: reading mysteries and camping.
